This is a picture of my mother's dog, Jack. Jack was her six-month-old birthday present from her father. You may ask, what does a baby do with a hunting dog? Why, she loans him to her father to go hunting with.

Here's Mom and Jack circa 1937. There are more pictures of Jack than there are of my mother. Mom says to get your picture taken you had to go stand by a dog or a car and hope the grown-ups noticed.

We found Bonanza Jellydog under our car at about four weeks old. She weighed one and a half pounds and would fit in your hand. Things have changed a little since then. She's a lab/boxer cross, and very sweet.

Eli is a chocolate lab/weimeraner cross and also very lovable, but very hyper! She's a real camera hog.

Lowell came from the pound. He had been hit by a car and taken to a vet who did a pro-bono, emergency FHO on his back leg (that means there's no head on his femur, just a 'floating' joint). We were there to get another kitten and instead came home with this adorable, needy four-month-old puppy. He's got some Saint Bernard, some golden and probably some shepherd in his background. He is the sweetest dog ever!
Soon Idgy, Tarma, Randy, and Xander, (the cats) will have their pictures up too. I really am working on it, guys.
