| Notes for Cora Etta Black . |
|
As with so many women of her time, her entire life seemed taken over by the raising children. She had her first child at 17 and her last at 44. She became a grandmother for the first time at age 38 (before her last three children were born), and a great-grandmother at 54. By the time of her death she had more than 50 grand- and great-grandchildren.
Read more about the Black family for information about Cora's parents, and more on the Sellers family for pictures of Cora and her children.
