She had 10 children in 20 years, beginning at age 18 up until her death at age 38, just a few weeks after the birth of her last child. She most likely died from complications from childbirth. Two of her children, Elsey and Eli, were less than 10 months apart, meaning Eli was probably at least a little premature.
