"Iola (or Florence as she was called) lived at the old home until her death. Daddy [Ernest Sellers, her nephew] tells how much he and Worth [Ernest's brother] liked to tease her, especially about her treasured collie dog. One time they took an old straw hat and put it over his head so he couldn't get it off. Another time they teased him into falling in the stream. Both incidents must have really made her mad."⁷
