Jacob lived on Stoney Point Road out from
Waco. He and the Browns were well acquainted. It is told
that Jacob once told Robert G. that someone had mistaken
him (Jacob) for Robert and that he didn't know whether to
hit the man or not. To which Grandpa Robert replied, "If I
had been there, I would have."7
