He also played on the sympathy of the girls to get dates, and was always out late. He would come home so late that his father would tell him to feed the mules their breakfast before he came to bed. His brothers Ernest and Worth would complain about him getting into bed with them in the early morning hours with his cold feet.406 He died some seven months before his youngest son Frank was born.
