| I haven't been able to determine if this is the J. J. Prather from Lincoln County who served in the Civil War in I Company , 47th NC Infantry, CSA. Joseph Jeremiah also had a brother John Jasper who may have been J.J. As an aside, they also had a brother named Hamilton Higgins (Prather) and a brother-in-law named William Walker (Brown). That's a lot of alliteration! | ||||||||
