| He was apparently a Quaker, and attended
the Western Branch Monthly Meeting in Southampton Co,
Viriginia. In 1810 (1810, 3, 24) "Thomas, son of Ephraim"
was disowned for marrying "contrary to discipline."436, p. 51 After his children were all born he and his family headed out west, first settling in Canton, Ohio, and then moving on to Rush County, Indiana.453 According to the 1840 census, he ran a common school in Rush County, Indiana with 20 students.451, p. 537, dwelling 725, family 730 Read more about the Draper family. |
