The Will of Philip Sellers
dated 26 April 1850

I, Philip Sellars of the County of Cleaveland and State of North carolina being of Sound mind and memory but considering the uncertainty of my Earthly Existence do make and declare this my Last Will and Testament In manner and form following that is to say:

First that my Executor (hereinafter named) Shal provide for my Boddy a decent burial Suitable to the wishes of my Relatives and friends and pay all funeral Expenses together with my Just debts howsoever and whomsoever owing out of the moneys that may first come into his hands as apart or parcel of my Estate

Item 1st I give and devise to my nephew Philip Sellars son of George Sellars all my Stock of horses all my stock of Cattle all my stock of hogs all my stock of Sheep to him and his personal representatives for ever

Item 2nd I give and devise to my nephew Philip Sellars son of George Sellars one Bureau one Cupboard one Chest and one Clock five Bedsteads and all the BedClothing and all my house hold and kitchen furniture not mentioned to him him and his personal representatives

Item 3rd I also give my nephew Philip Sellars son of George Sellars my Road Waggon and gearing one winmill and all my farming tolls of Every kind and all my Stock of Bees and my tannery tools one Loom weaving gears to him and his personal representatives

And Lastly I do hereby Constitute and appoint my trusty friend Philip Sellars Jun my Lawful Executor to allintends and purposes to Execute this my Last will and testament according to the true intent and meaning of the same and Every part and Clause there of hereby revoking and declaring all others void all other will and testaments by me heretofore made

In witness whereof I the said Philip Sellars Sen do hereunto set my hand and seal this 26 day of April AD 1850
